Kooikerhondje Club of the USA

The Kooikerhondje Club of the USA gas been in existance since 1997.  It is a small group right now with less than 300 Kooikers in the US, but we are hoping to continue to grow and gain new members as time goes on.

My name is Dee Nichols and I am the current President of the Kooikerhondje Club here in the USA, the Vice President is Linda Culpepper who is out in Texas.  Up until this last year we were the only breeders in the US.  This is starting to change now, I think there are 4 breeders now.  Due to the small number of Kooikers and the fact that they are spread out all through the US it has been difficult to get this club up and running but we are trying.

In the pages that follow you will find more information on the Kooiker, it's history, standard for the breed, a membership application, our code of ethics, rescues and a page showing some of the Kooikers in the states.

We hope you will stop in once in a while to see what is happening with the club and the breed.

We are looking for Kooiker owners or people interested in the Kooiker who wish to be a part of our club and has a talent they would like to share.
